Services for Providers The Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project offers a range of services for service providers, including: GMDVP’s Client Services Department Case Consultation Client Services consults with service providers to assist them in managing cases involving partner abuse among gay, bisexual or transgender men. Safety Planning Client Services assists service providers in developing safety plans for clients. Crisis Intervention Client Services will support and/or coach service providers as they work with a client in crisis or will directly provide crisis intervention services. Information and Referrals Client Services has an extensive list of service providers and organizations and can provide information and referral to connect clients to such services as HIV/AIDS support, legal resources, healthcare, doctors and health insurance, mental health services, detox, AA meetings, welfare and financial assistance. Education Department Education The Education Department offers presentations on partner abuse among gay, bisexual and transgender men and will design special educational programs based on the needs of the service provider. Training The Department provides a training program for service providers on Intimate Partner Abuse Screening. Educational Materials A variety of brochures and posters are available on partner abuse among gay, bisexual and transgender men.
